Pick to Light / Put to Light
In the Pick to Light mode, the computer system communicates with the displays, providing the operator information about the location and the number of products in the order. This system adds great speed and reliability to the picking, minimizing errors. Once the order is finished, the installation’s management software will transport it to its final destination. For some applications the process is inverted and set at Put to Light mode.

This type of process fits the medium density articles and the number of orders is around 500-1.000 picks per day per operator*.

Robot-Picking
Robot-Picking is situated at the highest automation level; in this type of system a robot is responsible for making up the order, adding flexibility, versatility and reliability to the installation.

The calculation software developed by GD Convey performs a volumetric study of the orders to be prepared in real time and optimizes space used by applying minimum entrophy search algorithms.
The Robot-Picking system treats the product carefully and with precision.
