GD Convey takes part in the Heineken Jumbo Project in the Seville new factory

The new factory of Heineken Spain in Torreblanca (Seville) will make 400 millions litres per year. This project involves the biggest investment, over 300 millions €, in the history of the world’s leading international brewer.

GD Convey with its partner BA Systemes, specialise in Automated Guided Vehicles, has been chosen by the Heineken group to install a pallets conveying system from its production warehouse to the expeditions area.

The system consist in 11 LGVs, with capacity up to 4 pallets and 4 Tn., an intermediate buffer area with 30 conveying lines for the no-returnable product, storage and returnable product.

The project is in function from the first quarter of 2007.
